Much of this is thanks to its standard S-AWC1 functionality, an advanced 4-wheel traction system that uses Active Yaw Control to balance driving and braking forces as you accelerate and corner. The SUV also offers 8.5-in. ground clearance and a standard Gravel drive mode, giving it the ability to tackle trails. It even supports a 1,500-lb. maximum towing capacity2, so you can bring a trailer with you during your weekend away from Elizabeth. At the heart of the Eclipse Cross is its standard 1.5L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, a spirited performer that produces 152 horsepower and 184 lb.-ft. of torque. It’s paired with a standard Continuously Variable Transmission to help it achieve an EPA-estimated fuel economy rating of 25/28/26 MPG city/hwy/combined3.

Riding on available 18-in. two-tone alloy wheels, the Eclipse Cross features an exterior that’s stylish and practical. Heated side mirrors are a standard feature and will prove helpful whenever Elizabeth’s frosty and snowy winters settle in. Upgrade them with the available power-folding function to tuck them in and squeeze into a tighter parking space. Available black roof rails run along the top of the SUV, bolstering its cargo capacity and letting you secure extra luggage.
